I like it, Cozart is cooling off, but still high average. Stubbs in the 2 is kind of scary, but Phillips is the second best option the have, their best is Bruce behind Votto but dusty refuses to do Lefty/lefty in the line up.

Let's hope it cures their TEAM .204 avg.

Votto will be fine. Stubbs..that's...normal. He's boom or bust. What's wrong with Phillips batting 2nd?

Nothing. The reds don't have a true leadoff hitter. Stubbs is terrible in the leadoff spot. They also need a power RHH. To bat fourth to scare opposing Pitchers. Instead they just walk Votto to get to the chasm that bats behind him. Cozart is a solid #2 hitter. Phillips should bat 1st in the lineup because he can get on base and bother pitchers when he's on. Bruce is a monster for a month of the season the quiet the rest. There is no one but Votto that scares opponents on the team. So they pitch around Votto and deal with everyone else.

Votto wants so bad to do something to start the hitting he's swinging at pitches he never normally would.

You can't bat two lefties back to back under ANY circumstances! Bruce is the only other guy with any chops for batting 4th and actually not make opposing teams laugh hysterically facing Votto... EVER.
