Is it amazing to anyone else that Navarro is only 27 (almost 28)? Dude seems like he has been around forever. Obviously he made his debut awhile ago, but I guess that and the prospect talk before it had him on the radar for sometime.

Good gamble right here since Francis will be in year two after his surgery. He showed he was durable last season so I think he will have better results this season if given the chance.Reds signed LHP Jeff Francis to a minor league contract.
FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reported less than 15 minutes ago that the deal was "close," and now CBS Sports' Jon Heyman is saying it's official. Francis will get a shot at cracking the Reds' starting rotation this spring in major league camp. He posted a disappointing 4.82 ERA and 91/39 K/BB ratio in 183 innings last season for the Rockies, but minor league deals are free of risk. If it doesn't work out, Cincy can simply cast him aside.
*psssssh* paging reds pitchers and catchers! Please report to Goodyear Arizona by Sunday! We're gonna start this exciting season! And Bronson, could you pick up Latos from the airport.
Speaking of Bronson, I have a feeling he wants to be the GM of the reds. That way he can trade Bailey... Because if there's on thing he knows, it's how to give up Homers!
I nearly spilled my drink laughing.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

Reds signed RHP Brett Tomko to a minor league contract.
It's not clear if the deal includes a spring training invite. Tomko, who turns 39 in April, posted a 4.58 ERA and 14/10 K/BB ratio over 17 2/3 innings with the Rangers last season, but spent most of the year at the Triple-A level. Of course, Tomko was originally drafted by the Reds in 1995 and spent the first three years of his major league career with the club.
Who knew Brett Tomko would pitch to age 39? Guessing it's just minors depth.
To be honest, I didn't even know he pitched in the big leagues last season.
I just hate that the Giants were the only team in Bombko's career that he lifted the playoff hopes of instead of ruining them as he did for every other team he pitched for, though I was glad that he made Padre fans eat shit after they gave us Dodger fans grief for carrying his deadweight ass on our roster.
Johnny Cueto will be the Opening Day starter.
