Volquez is just plain brutal. His "brilliant" outings are 3 ER in 5.2 IP. The guy just either plain stinks or gives up big hits in key situations in far too many outings to this point his his career.
Outdueled by Westbrook? Brutal.
And Molina continues to laugh at the Reds since the brawl with his play.
Could be several games behind the Cards and Brewers toward the middle of the coming week. Too bad our owner won't spend the the money to add those couple of key pieces; a stark contrast to those two teams.
Of course the "other forum" collectively still thinks Volquez can do no wrong and the offense is the team's overall biggest problem this year. Just wow.
Janish is just woeful right now offensively. Although I don't agree with the overall consensus about the offense there is certainly some injury and prolonged slump concerns.
I'd honestly rather see Renteria than Janish the majority of the time currently.
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)
Homer: We're proud of you, boy.
Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.
Renteria still can hit, let him play 6 or 7 innings most games and take him out for Janish if we have the lead.

I wish we would have kept Renteria now! Tejada was one of the worst signings we could have made
