I'll take that as a no.
I guess the "refugee" crew got tired of us already.

Jerry is truly ridiculous. Leaves Bailey in to start the 7th and allows him to allow the first two runners to reach and then pulls him and brings in Majewski with runners on 1st and 2nd and 0 outs and the team up two at the time. Angels now lead and appear close to adding more and Majewski couldn't record one out.
WHY does he keep pitching in setup-type situations over and over and over and over and over again???
I have never seen anything like it.

This is the most frustrating Reds team I have ever witnessed. It really just isn't any fun to watch them this year.
Narron needs to go. Yesterday. Dave Miley was better. He's BobBoone-ish.
I bet one legend that keeps recurring throughout history, in every culture, is the story of Popeye.
Stanton the next one to give up runs to balloon the Angels' lead further.
Why is it Majewski and Stanton in so many high leverage situations?
The team is terrible and should be blown up (with a few exceptions).
For the record, Majewski's ERA is now 15.88. But I guess he'll still be a setup guy/high leverage guy after today.

Stanton remains in and gives up another run.
Majewski's numbers since joining the Reds, by the way:
20.2 IP
.516 opponents BA
46 H
2.47 WHIP
9.58 ERA

Coffey with a 3 up, 3 down 8th.
THE BULLPEN IS FIXED!!
I bet one legend that keeps recurring throughout history, in every culture, is the story of Popeye.
Maybe he goes to Majewski and Stanton because he does not have anyone else who is any better. Coffey has been inconsistant as have everyone else in the Pen except for Weathers. Majewski and Stanton both need to go and we just need to go with the youth. If we get creamed then I could take it more knowing these guys are getting their feet wet and could get better with time. Players like Majewski and Stanton have had there time and they will get worse not better. This is Wayne K's Fault for putting us and Narron in this position. Do I think Jerry is the amswer, Crap no, But I can't really fault him for the Bullpen blowups since it has come from each and every one of them except Weathers. And let's not even get started on the worse than minor leauge bench we have to go to in pinch hit situations. And Ross, Mueller and and and ...... aAAGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Majewski, Stanton and Coffey (particularly the former two) should be avoided in almost all high-leverage/setup situations.
Go with Coutlangus and McBeth as much as possible. Salmon should also be up to replace Majewski but knowing this organization probably won't come up because he has some control issues.

Thank god we don't live in Cincinnati, my little brother would be so annoying with that (same spelling and all) despite being old enough to where you would think he would be past it.

It's catchy in a pathetic kind of way. I'll give them that. And they play it about 100 times a day on both the TV and WLW.
Of course when you have the lowest ratings of the three major channels these days (The Simpsons often beats them at 11 p.m. anymore), I guess you get viewers' and listeners' attention any way possible.

You do what you got to do I guess. Our local FOX affiliate just advertises during prime time about discussing the shows that are airing later on. Maybe it's just for the shows I watch, but their promos are always on TV, it's pretty funny once it happens for so long.

Yeah, that is some shoddy tactics there but they probably work in that instance. Wow.

I am sure they reference shows like House with medical stories. It's funny that this was brought up because I was watching a Simpsons episode a few days ago in which they stayed up to watch the made for TV version of Noah's Ark starring Troy McClure and at the credits Kent Brockman says:
"Now that you've seen the movie, how about a real life Noah... who wants to kill two of every kind?"
Ha.
