    I actually just got home. I was planning to go over to a few people's place tonight but when I heard on the radio about the dreaded words "freezing rain" I hustled home. Luckily I made it back without it starting to heat up. Nothing I hate more than driving in that stuff at night. Ugh.

    Well, that's good to hear. Good decision.

    I am about to take my first crack of the year at the NCAA Tournament Bracket Projections, using the RPI and its various statistical outputs extensively in the projections. I'm hoping I can do it tonight, but that depends on whether Mr. Jerry Palm updates collegeRPI.com tonight or not.

    BC a 6? Booooooo....

    Still, nice work, I don't have the patience to make up 64/65 teams that I would put into a tournament.

    Yeah, well, the issue with BC is this:

    * No. 59 Non-Conference RPI
    * No. 34 overall RPI
    * 1-4 vs. RPI Top 50
    * 7-4 vs. Top 100 (As a result of that 1-4)

    They have a good Conference RPI and have been good over their last 10 games (both big components), along with a nice Road/Neutral record. but those issues bring down their overall seed.

    I can see why you did it, perfectly logical.

    I just think they're dangerous as a six seed, and as long as they don't get upset in R1, they can be a pain in the ass to whatever three seed (Pitt?) that they go up against with Smith and Dudley.

    Random CBB Note: Two schools that I applied to, Stonehill and Southern New Hampshire, got a hidden gem highlight on ESPN's CBB Show tonight with one of the players hitting a shot from 3/4 court.

    Longhorns are so overrated. I'm betting they end up not even getting a 2 seed, probably be a 3 by the time Selection Sunday rolls around. I doubt they make the Sweet 16 either. Tuck Fexas.

    Yeah, I could definitely see BC making a decent run and Texas not going anywhere.

    I agree with DK about texas. But I think 2 teams which could make noise are Georgetown and Seton Hall....if they don't play each other.

    Not the game BC wanted to help that seed out.
