If you move him down to bat second and Freel gets on base knowing the big boppers are next, he will be in a better position to get something to hit or draw a walk. Granted hes not hitting much right now but he still is drawing a bunch of walks. With Freel ahead of him and the big boppers behind him, he could get a better look at stuff to hit or work the count to build on the walks and not have as much pressure to try to lead off with hits.Originally Posted by CincyRedsFan30

FYI guys, game of the week for S3F is tomorrow nights game of the Cards vs Braves (aka Mulder vs Hudson.) I am pretty sure the game will be on TBS but even if it's not I plan to get the MLB TV version.

I saw the Reds play twice last week and feel that Junior is swinging the bat well now.
He just missed about three home runs before the one he hit on Saturday.

After my last exam today, a two and half hour history exam in which it was eassays (I wrote 16 pages for 2 questions.... yeah my professor is hardcore) I think I will go pass out now.

Over on a certain other Reds discussion forum, they are using a "reputation points" system. It's pathetic. I mean, who sits there and goes through each post in a thread and says "I think I will give a reputation point for that poster"? That certain website is obviously hurting in the bandwidth department (the owner wants to charge subscribers more than twice what they are paying now), and is trying to weed out more than the fly-by-night trolls. I'm imagining that the only posters assigning reputation points are the posters that have known each other for years. Not a good system.
yeah i saw that, and even though i don't agree with what they are doing, from a person who has worked in webhosting, the bandwidth with that many users can be staggering, and if they're paying from their pockets, then it can get unreasonable at times, especially with the gameday threads.
i don't seriously see how its going to help, cause the same amount of people are going to visit the board.
