    Kearns K's. 2 outs.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Phillips flies out to deep CF but the ball is caught on a nice play and the game is over.

    Royals win 9-8.

The team is simply not that good.

Anyone know where Wally is at? I messaged him since he hasn't been on for awhile and was just curious. Although if I do recall correctly, he went MIA around this time last year but just went on vacation. Either way, I hope he's alright.

Also, I had a request for ghetto if you get the time. Ghetto, could you make one of your awesome Harang graphics? Maybe to say something like "ASG or Bust" below it. If it was avatar sized and we all used it as an avatar, that would be totally rad and either piss or mesmerize non-Reds fans (some, maybe both.) Of course rep would be given.

I found it funny that Tony Womack was DFA by the Cubs today after posting an OPS of .693 for them.

    Nice move, O'Brien.

Nope I havent seen Wally for a while either. I hope everything is cool as well.

And thanks for pointing the Womack DFA thing out CRF. Thats one move that defined O'Brien's tendencies.

    Oh yeah. It was GREAT.

I come home to tornado touchdowns in the area, exciting All-Star games to check on and rampant Reds trade rumors, but not much else.

I don't know if anything touched down here, but we got plenty of emergency system warnings.

As for the trade rumors, I am just hoping even if there is a shred of truth (which I am doubting) that we'll wake up to have something of a farm system left. Some are talking about losing guys like Bailey, Bruce, Wood, Stubbs, etc would be passable. Sadly I think those some do not realize how losing any and all decent prospect of this system will cripple this team unless RCast plans to turn us into the next Yankess (and even they suffered with their terrible system, which isn't looking as bleak as it did then to be fair.)

Anyone think this rumor has a snowballs chance in Heck of being true?
    http://forums.espn.go.com/espn/threa...ostID=25517487

    Pretty Much:

    Cincy Gets: Dontrelle and Tejada
Fla Gets: Kearns and spects (I would assume either Bailey or Wood here probably)
Balt Gets: Lopez, Hatteberg (Why? Im still trying to figure that one out), and spects (probably the OF we drafted Rd 1 this year).

Whats your thoughts? Is this hog wash or is there legit chance?
HollywoodLeo: You and Kingdom always annoy me
"Oh, don't mind me, I'm rebuilding now" then you win at least 80 games

Maybe he does plan on turning us in the the next Yankees? I wouldn't count anything out with Castellini. We might not go all out to the degree they do, but I could see us heading more in that direction.

Remember at his introductory presser when he said he had a "burning desire" to win and that he is "an impatient guy?"

    Ya never know.

Have you seen Dontrelle's stats Slyder? The Marlins would be stupid to trade Willis to the Reds without getting Bailey and the Reds would be stupid to trade Bailey in a package to get Willis. It's a catch 22. Of course Willis is still a fine pitcher, but while his stock has gone down, Bailey's is shooting up. Bailey is going to be ace material, cheap and under our control for many years and obviously when he's on, he's got stuff and velocity.
