Narron
As most of us suspected, Jerry Narron is not changing anything with this team. They're making the same errors physical and otherwise and of course the pitching is still just as poor.
What I don't understand is why he doesn't change what is in his control. For instance in today's 2nd inning Rich Aurilia is at the plate with two out and two of your fastest guys on base, Encarnacion and Lopez. A LH on the mound. This is the easiest scenario in which to steal 3rd. Why not send them on a double steal? As a manager, make these guys hustle! They're sleepwalking through these games and they need an awakening. If I'm managing this horrible team I'm going to let it be known that I'm not going to take these beatings day after day without a fight

Well, Narron also "let it be known", he just did it verbally. You have to demonstrate your managerial powers with actions. Narron is obviously a version of Miley that doesn't blink.

They do still seem to just be loafing out there. I put it on the players also to at least play with some pride. It seems like they just don't care at times. Narron got handed a raw deal and doesn't seem to be able to figure out how to change it around. At least the team has scored in double figures a couple of times. They are going to need more of that with the way balls are being sent out of the park with Reds pitching.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to write out a half-decent lineup card. I mean, if we "Internet Managers" can make out lineup cards that make sense, why can't Narron? Is it really that difficult? Common sense says that you:
(a) put your best players at the top of the lineup; then
(b) protect your best hitters; then
(c) try and have guys that can get on base batting first in an inning on average; then
(d) split up LHB's and RHB's to make it difficult for opposing managers trying to play match-up.
