First of all, I don't want this happening with O'Brien running things. He is still a good player, even if he's not great.

Number two, I still don't think Minaya is that dumb. He helped Bowden with the foundation for this great Nationals team that Bowden has put over the top apparently. Bowden didn't go to the playoffs since '95 with the Reds, but it is looking like he VERY well could go with the Nationals in his first year. I think some of that is due to some great pitching talent Minaya had in place, combined with Bowden somehow turning into a genius suddenly when it comes to adding pitchers of his own.
