Right-hander Tom Shearn, like Justin Lehr, had his contract sold to Doosan Bears of the Korean League. The paperwork may still be incomplete. But it's a done deal. Shearn and Lehr had outs in their contracts if they were offered deals with the Korean League.
"Lehr had it in writing," said Terry Reynolds, the Reds' director of player development. "Shearn had a verbal."
I got an email from Korean blogger about this a couple of days ago, but with Bruce stuff I forgot to check it out. If you can read Korean, here's the details:

Shearn, 30, went 3-0 with a 4.96 ERA for the Reds last year in first major league after 11 years in the minors. He's a great guy. It's probably going to hard to keep up with Ohio State football over there, however.
