Well, we gained nothing on them yesterday and might be losing a game on them today. We stayed even with them in the series against them.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Stellar job by Backe. 2 ER in 6 IP for a Quality Start. 3-2 Astros, Mid. 6th. We have only three innings left.

But still gained on them in the last 10 games (even if we lose tonight)

Which just shows you that we might not be as good as them, since we could still be three games behind them despite gaining games on them.

4-2, I think we're toast. This team is just not good at all.

Or that we might be as good as them (they just got off to a better start) and we will catch them over the long term. Kind of like how we beat them last year when you thought they were better than us.

I'm sure the Astros are excited about their chances of winning two of three in this series. Oswalt never loses to the Reds as we know, and Ortiz is due to get crushed soon. I'm sure O'Brien will continue to make NO moves though, and we'll see Aurilia tomorrow night and Aurillia over and over and over again.

You mean how like I was the only one who said the Angels would beat the A's and that the Cards were incredible?

    Must be like that.

Oh, and we started the year (3-0)... the Pirates didn't. We've gotten much worse since then, while they've gotten much better.

No, I mean how you said the Pirates would finish ahead of us last year also and who didn't think the Cardinals were very good last year

Almost did too. You can't find one other thing to throw in my face, BTW.
