I know a lot of people know who it is for and I will change the title in a bit, but I am ot sure yet because I enjoy the suspense. I sure hope we have a huge return.
Here I go, time to check...

For Edinson Volquez...
Man, I am going to look into this guy we got for Hamilton, but I didn't know this happened until just now. I know this guy was their third best prospect before the 2007 season. Lets start talking about our new pitching prospect.
I know I am going to miss Hamilton like crazy though.
Sounds like Daniel Herrera is coming from the Rangers as well.
From Trent's Blog:
Volquez, 24, last season won the Nolan Ryan Pitcher of the Year Award as the best minor league pitcher in the Rangers' organization. In 26 starts at Class A Bakersfield, Class AA Frisco and Class AAA Oklahoma he went 14-6 with a 3.67 ERA while allowing minor league opponents to hit just .190 overall. He also went 2-1 with a 4.50 ERA in 6 starts for Texas.
Krivsky:
"This trade would not have been done had we not felt that he was able to not only compete but win a job in our rotation in 08."
"Fastball, curveball, changeup. He's 6-2, athletic with a live arm. He's from the Dominican Republic and his idol is Pedro Martinez. He’s got charisma, animation. He’s got a fastball, 92-94, but can go get 97. He’s got a hard breaking ball that acts like a slurve at times. "
On center: "That’s open for competition, that’s what spring trainig will determine. Dusty will play the guy he’s giving, with Hopper, Freel, Dickerson and Bruce we’re with four guys in competition for playing time."
Hamilton:
"I think I was in the right place, coming back to baseball. Cincinnati welcomed me with open arms, who would have thought a city that had never seen a guy play baseball would? It’s going to be one of my favorite places forever. I enjoyed the fans, the organization, I talked to Wayne and told him how much I appreciated the opportunity in taking a chance and seeing what I can do."
"Absolutley. I was there God put me there for a reason and he found another place for me to go."
Sounds to me like Cueto, Bailey, and Volquez will all be battling for spots in the rotation next year.
Harang
Arroyo
Bailey
Volquez
Cueto
???
I will miss Hamilton a whole lot, but you I understand that Hamilton came to us for next to nothing and we flip an outstanding potential in the outfield and turned it into an outstanding potential on the mound.
We have Bruce to take over in CF and Freel and Hopper to do so until Bruce is ready. I like this move.

Keep trying to talk yourself into this one redsr.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Question? Does Volquez fill the void of Cueto if Cueto is dealt for Bedard?
In all seriousness, Volquez sounds promising, and Hamilton was hurt a lot.
