All I have to say is, that is one fine 8th inning the Reds have.

    The moments continue.

    Conine gets an infield basehit
    BP GIDP (I love acronyms)
    Dunn walks (nice plate appearance)
EdE grounds out to his counterpart

Marlins killed the Reds 10-2 tonight. I guess the fans in Miami can thank Lohse for this one. Mackanin had a bad lineup tonight but it will look like that more often if Griffey is traded. So, we can't blame him that much.

Just not a good game for Lohse. I doubt anyone takes him in a trade now. Its pretty much a sure thing that will will be getting a Type B or C FA for next year's draft for him.

Anyhow, we are now 7-4 with Mackanin at the helm. Not too bad considering how bad we were with Narron. Chalk this one up as another loss for Lohse (makes 12 for him) and another loss for this team to get us higher on the draft pick chart for next season.

    MVP: Conine
