I am too excited for the game tomorrow, I know many of you will be at the game, but for us schlubs who couldn't score tickets or live too far away... I hope you're here at 7 PM.

Alright, we have Homer and Jr (whose on a terrible brain tonic kick, gigantanism is certain), that's a start. I think Ozzie is floating in some parallel dimension. Clemens has totally gone insane, I mean outside of expecting to be treated like the world's most valuable jewel, instead he thinks he is a chicken. Boggs got into a fistfit with a local barfly over England's greatest Prime Minister (I still say it's Lord Palmerston, so I agree with Wade there.) Scioscia has radiation poisoning, but is expected to take his job back at the nuclear power plant when healthy, so we can't count on him. Steve Sax is on trial for every crime ever committed in NYC, luckily we don't have to cover his legal fee's. Canseco, in the middle of writing books and exposing other supposed cheaters, has quite the fire to deal with. Mattingly can just go to hell if he won't shave those sideburns. The Straw Man is able to play, but I think we'll sit him for Homer, like Burns we'll play the odds and the strategy to be a successful club... Strawberry isn't a pitcher and Homer is, so there is the reason why.

And while Homer isn't a Honus Wagner, a Shoeless Joe, or a Mordecai "Three-Finger" Brown... much like the episode of The Simpsons, he's simply all we got (in terms of arguably the top prospect in baseball who has yet to play in the bigs.)

    Go Homer.

Look for us in the mezzanine.

    I can't wait.

Hopefully I won't be saying "d'oh" when he's done pitching.
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

I really think Homer is going to be lights out.Hopefully Narron doesnt keep him in there too long and maybe he can put in a good lineup for the kid. Go Bailey!

I know the feeling. I think this has been the most excited I've been since Griffey's first game.

So many things are trying to distract me from this game tonight. I am getting pissed off because it is building up for me to not be able to see this game.

Thats it, phone is getting shut off. Now, there we go. Now I can breathe and concentrate on the greatness we are about to see. Nice opening post mission.

Hamilton has a mid .600 OPS versus lefties this season, so I imagine that is the statistic that Narron went for without given consideration to go a bit deeper.

I don't hate having Hopper in there either as I believe he can flat out hit. Maybe I went too deep with it. I didn't consider how bad Hamilton is against lefties either. I guess I can understand a bit now.

    Conine batting cleanup still?

Re: 6/08 Indians vs Reds (Here Comes Homer)

Its hard to remain mad right now, but I am displeased. But my heart is pumping for this game. If I am nervous, I know Homer is. He is likely sitting in theclubhouse and is trying to be focused while trying to fit in and deal with the media and everything that is involved in your first game on a major league diamond.

It will be something special when we see his poise while standing on that mound. Otherwise known as the loneliest place in the world. At least he is at home. I am very excited about this game!
