just got here. Heard the 3rd inning on the radio. Arroyo is not effective when that curve is up or over the plate. He needs to start it in the strike zone and let it break away. He needs to trust his fastball more, and frankly he needs a third pitch like a straight change that looks like his fastball.

I agree with you. Arroyo has a changeup that he used earlier in the year. It had wicked drop to it too and fooled a lot of batters. I am not sure why he went away from it.
