Chico is done for the night, a much better outing than I think almost any of us were expecting.

Conine down looking on a ball that nearly reached the Reds dugout

Not really, I am honestly happy we hit him. He is a junk throwing lefty. We suck against these guys.

Now lets see this team mash the Nat pen.

Welsh on Ray King "This guy pitches with as big a heart as anybody" ! Do ya think he meant gut?

When and how the Reds add to their five World Championships, nine pennants and nine division titles seems less important than the franchises' lineage, which traces a line back to the dawn of the professional game and their role as keeper of the historic flame they lit by birthing the Red Stockings in 1869.

I wonder if Kearns has ever fantasized a revenge plan against Ray King given that locker is only a few feet away now, with both being Nationals.

I was thinking something very similar.

I am telling you what. I predict that slider every time before it comes and it does and Dunn always takes a cut at it. Always.

Now that the Grizzlies got robbed, I can care about this game. Chico pitched better than I expected, hjis control and command have been terrible all year and he hasn't given us a chance to win that often.

Tony Batista is up. Reds fans here is Juan Francisco!

Dunn has never seen a slider from a lefty he could hit or he wanted to lay off of.

Stanton stays in. If he allows a single baserunner, you got to get him out of there.

Man...it's refreshing to have the right to post in a game thread!

Regardless of the outcome of this inning (Batista just flew out), I think leaving Stanton in is a bad idea.

Whats up McKain? Chico just did better than normal because he was playing a Reds team who cannot hit lefties very well. I am impressed he allowed runs to score.

I don't want to talk too much crap as I am really hoping the Reds are at the beginning stages of a turn-around. But we just do not hit junk throwing lefties at all.
