You mentioned lower expectations, well any quality start I get pretty happy about... even with a loss, now that's sad. This team just doesnt click at one unit ever. It's either the starters, the bullpen, the defense, the hitting, 3 of 4 whatever, not working. The lack of consistency in both the players and the team is just disgusting.

That's why I mentioned Freel/Randa as giving the most consistent efforts. They might not always have a bit hit, but they both look like they always care about what happens.

Agreed here. Mission hits it on the spot. This offense did not click last night. And the pitching was decent. never a whole team good effort.
