Krivsky has his hands full with choices on how to handle some really nice prospects. With Bailey, Votto, and possibly Bruce being ready to come up to the big club next season, do you think their rookie seasons will bring impact and have a part in winning ball games?
We all know that when a player is new to the big leagues, they are prone to struggle out of the gate and a lot of the times throughout the season. Which carries a two-part question for this discussion. Isn't it wise for Krivsky to allow these players to hone their talents at the minor league level and be more then ready to contribute when the call arises? Also, if they do get called up sooner then later, do you see them struggling a bit and not having enough impact as they are still learning at the big league level?
What I am getting at is this; I am very excited about these young studs. They all have star potential. But is it too early to say that the '08 team is going to be better than this year's team because of the upcoming talent? Do you guys think they are going to struggle as most rookies do?
