Reds Reds vs. Phillies Game 2

Today we have to face Brett Myers who has been solid this season sporting a 1.49 ERA in 48 IP. Not many ABs against him for the Reds so we will not look at it. But we have Milton going today. He knows that he has a problem and is still working on things to figure it all out. Hopefully we see a dtermined pitcher on the mound for us today. We really could use it. Lets get the win for the series tonight fellas!

    7 Austin Kearns, RF
    8 Jason LaRue, C
    9 Eric Milton, P

    No. Philadelphia
    1 Jimmy Rollins, SS
    2 Tomas Perez, 1B

    5 Placido Polanco, 2B
    6 David Bell, 3B

Same as yesterday. Miley definitely still uses the worst guy possible in front of a strength. Jiminez over Freel just does not make sense to me.

Why does Kearns continue to hit so low, and Casey so high?

Also, why does Jimenez continue to hit over Freel? Ugh.

I'm up for some play-by-play though. (With a unique perspective, since I got into Philly this afternoon... will be watching on their channel.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Lopez starts it off with a K, and this guy Myers can really pitch. Lots of Ks will be in our eyes tonight.

you need to get off your high horse and admit that Miley is the major reason why this team is where it is at, with someone else at the helm, they would probably be .500

    DJ lines out to center
Casey lines out to the SS.

1-2-3 for Myers and this guy is a stud fellas. We are going to have to see some good things from Milton tonight. First pitch strikes, keep it down and on the corners. Come on Milton we need you tonight man!

Milton gets 0-2 counts on the first two batters

Then gets another pop out as Felo makes a great range play of it.

Burrell RBI base hit. Milton was a little worse with a runner on. He has to come back at it here.

Polanco grounds out to Milton. Not a horrible inning compared to Milton's past.

Cancel that... no PBP from me.

What high horse are you talking about? I look at what Miley's done in the past...which is win, win and win. O'Brien= NOTHING.
