This game is what we needed
Awesome win there! The lineup was explosive early and just killed Reyes. We are still in this playoff hunt fellas. Its an up and down rollercoaster right now, but it is nice to get a victory over these Cards in the meantime. Loved how the lineup worked for the second time he had tried it and both times they ended up in the winners column.
Lets get another one tomorrow Reds!
MVP: Bronson
Narron, please use this lineup every day. Obviously the results won't always be the same, but this isn't a Sunday night beer league here. We're in a playoff hunt and it only makes sense to play the best players as often as we can, Clayton is not one of those players. Aurilia is just the type of personality who would thrive at playing SS again due to the fact that his star fell quite quickly from his trek away from San Francisco and I think he would enjoy to prove the naysayers wrong. We've seen his bat and his glove, Clayton doesn't bring much to the table often and even if Aurilia's range and glove isn't all that much, the offensive upgrade should make up for it. I don't know about you all, but I just can't get excited about any lineup with Clayton. Having Aurilia in without taking out any key player (Freel, Hatteberg, Ed E) is so much nicer than the way it was, keep it that way Jerry.
