    I didn't see where it said they were even considering LaRue. Is this just a thought you had Cincy?

    Anyhow, I don't think LaRue would be a good fit for the BoSox because he had a hard time handling the knuckleball from Fernandez a few years ago. This means they would be in big trouble if they ever had to have him catch for Wakefield. Although I believe Wakefield is on the DL, I am not sure for how long and it just doesn't equal a good combination for the two.

    LaRue wouldn't catch the knuckler. My guess? He'd get starting duties until Tek is ready to comeback then serves in the reserve catcher role when rosters expand.
