Figures, but I was hoping Griffey would be a reserve.

I hate the ASG voting process...they should eliminate fan voting.
I'd like to see Junior in the homerun derby, just like old times.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

If Griff didn't miss all that time, I think he would of edged out Soriano in the vote.

Told you guys. I would have loved to see Jr. in the ASG again, but he didn't have the numbers.
He would have gotten in on popularity alone had he not missed a month. I mean who goes to a game to watch Jason Bay play?

seriously, Bay is one of the top OFs in the game...
He did raise his OPS about .100 points since that comment though (not ASG reserve worthy still, but another good week or so and he would be getting close). And the only way I believed he was getting in was via the vote obviously.Originally Posted by MarinersFan87

Jason Bay doesn't have any flare for the dramatic though. He sucks ass in the derby and is a boring white guy from Canada.
Griffey > Bay
Bay has superior numbers than Griffey this year. He deserves to go ahead of him.
Not that the All-Star process is fair or often makes it so the best players get in, but I have no problem with Bay getting in and not Griffey.
Utley has better numbers than Phillips and Coffey has been good but slipped a bit lately. Dunn had a case.
I was hoping Phillips would would get on the reserve list, but oh well.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.
Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.
