Yep I would have started Mo over Kearns today honestly. But I can't be too pissed about this lineup considering last night's success.

I don't think Dempster is the best pitcher to start Pena against.

I think he would cause a lot of air to circulate throughout the ballpark if he were starting today.

Lets get this win today fellas! Dempster has not pitched beautifully yet this year so we can get it done. Harang is our best starter so far and hopefully he will continue. Lets get a series win against these division rivals boys!

Everyone who has had more than 5 ABs against Dempster is .300 or better!

Dempster has actually been good over his last three starts:

    6 IP, 0 ER
    6 IP, 3 ER
    6 IP, 1 ER

agreed, he has been pretty effective for the most part this year. His stats are still hurt from the Arizona game on the first game of the year.

Agreed, Lee is the only one in that lineup that scares me at all.

    Why isn't freel starting?

I thought they would sit griffey for the day game after a night game. I think it's important to get Kearns in there, to fight through his stuff, i might have sat Casey down today and put dunn over there, just 'cause i don't want wily to get to cold on the pine.

Does wily have a pinch hit this year?

Pena's injury might be still be preventing him from playing.

    That's not a guarantee, but it's possible.
