MVP: Griffey Jr
We keep this up sweep the cards then get a win against the cubs we will be in our rightfull place in 1st
I was just able to catch the post-game and they said ondeck someone was heckling Jr. and after the bomb he went over to wherever they were and put his hand over his mouth in a quite you style. That's awesome.
Just something special about a Jr. homerun.... let alone two of them. MVP: Jr.
Man that is awesome! Junior wins it in Junior fashion! I can go to sleep a happy man when he does things like this!
Thats 1 win two to go!
MVP: Griffey
Nice to see Griffey starting to hit! I don't mind him batting 3rd now.
Anyway, I got to hear the full 9th inning in the car on the way home from work, and boy was it exciting!
Claussen continuing to struggle was one negative tonight. He wasn't as awful as he has been in a few starts, but he wasn't good.
We could still really use another starter and one or two more bullpen arms. At least one of those items would be nice to get.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.
Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.
Wow, It's reasons like these that make me such a big Griffey fan. I was almost asleep on the couch when i hear George Grande and his classic line, (we all know what that is). That woke me up for sure. It's also pretty funny when someone hits a big homer like JR did last night hearing Welsh in the back ground. You can tell he's jumping up and down.
MVP: JR.
