Thread: where oh where is the offense?

where oh where is the offense?

not much going right for the reds right now. Shutout for 21 innings, (freel ended it with a HR in the first) wasting a lot of good starts. what's it going to take to get these guys going again? Narron said he almost went with hatteberg leading off and Dunn hitting second in this game, and Marty, Hal, and I all agree that he should. I hope this is what we see tomorrow:

    Hatteberg
    Dunn
    Lopez
    Kearns
    Griffey
    EdE
    Phillips
    Larue

MVP for yesterday goes to Hrang for 7 innings 2 ER.
    Reds MVP Race

    6: Arroyo, Harang
    5: Kearns
    4: Phillips
    3: Dunn, Felo, Freel, Milton
    2: Claussen, EdE, Griffey, Valentin
1: Aurilia, Hatteberg, Lizard, Larue, Shackelford

hatteberg just went yard in the 8th to make it 4-3 D-backs. He's been phenomenal this year so far. The reds really really need this comeback.

Well Hatteberg just hit a two run shot. We are in this game now today. I would agree with that lineup aswell no matter how sick it looks.

Since Narron got kicked out of the game this offense has woke up! Freel just doubled to the LF corner. Freel has been real impressive today. Lets go now Felo! Lets make this thread be a turning point.

freel is really getting in their heads, lets hope he doesn't run us out of this one though.

    felo bunts!? c'mon, man.

free pass given to jr, to bring up aurilia. Giving up that out was stupid.

why are they trying to bunt??? Freel is on 2B. I understand the sac fly possibility but go for the hit. We have no outs.

They walk Junior intentionally. Come on Aurilia

why didn't they pinch hit with kearns? aurilia goes down looking. damnit, that was managed very very poorly. bunting with felo was very dumb, and it may get them out of this innings.

and dunn lines out. that was the chance right there, gave it away. Guy on second no one out, only need one run, and can't score. That is frustrating. It'd be nice if adam dunn ever got hits ever.

two runners left on thanks to the umpire. This team has to swing at complete crap because they know it will be called a strike. Worst umpiring I have seen all year seriously.
