Zambrano swings away on an 0-2 pitch and singles. 1st and 2nd, 0 outs. Ugh oh Milton. This could get awful quickly.

Murton singles. Dunn drops the ball. 5-3 Reds. Likely a Cubs win with our pen. This could well be an AWFUL outing for Milton now.

    little over-reaction maybe?

    milton's line so far: 5 ip, 2 ER, 6 h, 2 bb, 4 k

he's set up for a quality start.

Man, sounds like Dunn is still crap in LF today.

I think Kearns GIDP may have been the first GIDP for this team this year. I'll have to look that up.

I hope Milton can hold them for one more inning.

Well, 3 ER in 5 IP actually. 8 baserunners- not a great WHIP right now.

As long as he doesn't give up more ER today it could still be a quality start, but one more and it's poor. The pen is getting closer too, so that's scary.

    Kearns singles.
