Nice game all around other than the Mercker pitch to Mabry. I liked this game by everyone though. Arroyo had a good outing although he gave up 4 runs. I liked what I saw from him today. He also did his job at the plate which is rare to see by a Reds pitcher.

Nice hitting all around today and amazing play by Freel. He gets the job done on the top of the oredr and on the bases as well. I really hope Narron was paying attention. We would not have won without him whatsoever.

    Our problems to work on:

*EdE still looks a little lost although he got a double today.
*The bullpen did good at the end of the game, but made it far too close early.

    MVP: Freel

Well, I was following on GameCast between typing stuff in my Journalism class.

Nice win and one they needed!!

I was very impressed from what I saw from Arroyo, even though I didn't see him from the 1st inning on. 3 ER in 6.2 IP was not bad at all, especially with a decent breeze out there today. Him hitting a HR was really funny. There were a couple of others in my Journalism class who had GameCast up too and we were all laughing, lol.

Nice to see the offense in gear again. Everyone except FeLo and EdE are locked in, although I think they both will be OK with time. The Double from Encarnacion was nice to hear about. Good to see the JR homerun. Dunn is raking at the plate and Aurilia looked good. Kearns looked pretty good too. I expect him to get better and better.

Mercker made a bad pitch, but the rest of the pen was pretty good today.

Let's keep it up team. Hopefully Claussen can take out the Pirates tomorrow night.

PS: PLEASE let Freel start. How many times do I have to say it?!

    MVP: Arroyo
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

i only listened for a little bit b/c i was at school but i was very impressed with today's game..

    MVP: Arroyo

Reasonings: First start at GABP and handled it well went 6 innings and struck out 7! Thats probably a record for a Red's Pitcher these days. I just hope he can keep that up then he'll be a star here. Was Jr's Hr good?

Junior's HR was opposite field which says a lot. He is hitting for power everywhere. Not to mention Dunn's stroke right now as well. This offense is doing real well outside of Felo and Ede as CRF said.

Arroyo was the MVP, except for that gopher ball he served up to Lee. Way to go Reds. Freel's heads-up play was awesome.

reds relievers i currently have no faith in whatsoever: mercker, white, hammond, burns. So much for veteran leadership. Also, for the record, dane sardinha could have struck out everytime up too, but he would have caught that foul ball. That trade still makes no sense to me, but enough complaining on a day that we won.

MVP: Arroyo. made really one mistake pitch to ramirez in his first inning of the season, which is understandable. After that he pretty much shut the place down until the double he gave up in the 7th. I don't know why narron pulled him.

How many time is narron going to make pitching changes and see the new guy get rocked by the first batter? oh right, i said no more complaining.
    Reds MVP Race

    6: Arroyo, Harang
    5: Kearns
    4: Phillips
    3: Dunn, Felo, Freel, Milton
    2: Claussen, EdE, Griffey, Valentin
1: Aurilia, Hatteberg, Lizard, Larue, Shackelford
