White Sox What's more likely...?: South side Chicago edition.

Robin Ventura was surprising named the manager of the White Sox, how will he fare in his first season? Will Adam Dunn and Alex Rios rebound after the...let's say...down years of 2011. How will the pitching staff look after Mark Buerhle's talent being taken to South Beach? Can Matt Thornton finally become a major league closer?

I've been wavering on this one for the last 48 hours or so...and I think I'm buying in to Adam Dunn rebounding. Good spring stats, and .850 was a given before last season.

Re: What's more likely...?: South side Chicago edition.

    Update: Two months in...
    White Sox record: 30-22
    Adam Dunn OPS: .950
Morel, Viciedo, De Aza: 35, 48, 52 games respectively.
    Konerko OPS: 1.091
Tyler Flowers: 11 games, 35 AB. Pierzynski's OPS is .846
Closer other than Matt Thornton: Thornton(1 save), Reed(7 saves), Santiago(4 saves)
Peavy/Sale over 160: Peavy currently at 76.2, Sale at 57.2.

In conclusion, all of them except Flowers, Konerko and under .500 could be hit this season. Crazy.

I still think it will happen but I'm having my doubts now. I wonder what Williams will do to improve the team.
