Juan Pierre has been gunned down on eight of his 13 stolen base attempts this season.
No other player in the majors has been caught more than four times. The numbers are worrisome, but White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen has given no indication that he will put a halt to Pierre's aggressiveness.

Pierre has lead the league six times in his career in CS and this year he is doing it again. His lousy 38% stolen base percentage is hurting this ChiSox offense. Pierre only has been getting on base 31% of the time this year and when he does, he is getting thrown out at second. Pierre lead the league last year in both SB and CS but this year it seems he needs to cut back a little.

Juan Pierre hit a home run yesterday. That's worthy of a mention. Only his 3rd home run in the last 5 years.
