Sorry, as a rock
Mark Buehrle surrendered two runs in six innings against the Royals today but wasn't involved in the decision.
Both runs scored on solo homers by Tony Graffanino and Emil Brown. Buehrle put eight other runners on base besides the two homers, but he pitched out of a few jams to keep the game tied at 2-2 when he departed. He'll see the Twins and Devil Rays in his next two starts.
Some mitigating factors involve numerous jams, solo homers by non homer-und hitters, and he was facing the Royals. But he had another quality start, and is there any pitcher in baseball more dependable for a quality start when needed than Mark Buehrle? Seriously?
