I really like the hire. Out of all the candidates he was the best in the player development department. I think there's a chance Lovullo may wind up being a better manger overall, but Boston really screwed him over by blocking an interview opportunity for him. I look forward to next year when the agreement ends and the Cubs can poach whoever from Boston.
