Oh, my quad: Ramirez injures leg in first inning

Aramis Ramirez can't seem to stay healthy. Plagued by nagging injuries, the Cubs third baseman said he injured his right quadriceps on a first-inning ground out.
He didn't come out of the game until the eighth for a pinch runner, but the concern is how long Ramirez might miss with this injury. The team can't afford to lose his powerful bat.
Ramirez couldn't predict if he would be able to play today when the Arizona Diamondbacks come to Wrigley Field.
''We'll have to wait and see,'' he said. ''Right now it's a little sore. This is not the right time to go down. But I think I'll be all right.''
As long as it's not anything long term we will be fine. I'd give him some time off to be safe.
