Personally I'm hoping they trade him and sell high.Cubs pitching coach Bosio is a miracle worker. Maholm, Dempster, Garza, Feldman, Samardzija, and Hammel. Cubs have gotten a lot of good prospects thanks to him. Hopefully Arrieta joins the list.

Trading Arrieta at this point would be silly. Sure if you get a kings ransom I'd go along with it. Pitchers capable of being a number two don't grow on trees.

I like to tell Cubs fans, that aren't nearly as obsessed as I am, that Donaldson was once in the Cubs organization. I usually get the same response and they flip out because they don't remember Rich Harden lol

The best part of the Manny Ramirez and Jason Bay 3-way trade between the Dodgers, Red Sox, and Pirates is that the Pirates dumped Bautista to room at third base for Andy LaRoche, who they judged to have more upside because all the nerds said he walks a lot. Oops!
