Dempster's first start since 03

With Dempster giving up 7 run in 3 and 2/3 innings. Should Baker go with another guy or stay with Dempster?

I think Dempster should be replaced with someone else in the rotation like Rusch or Mitre. Rusch was excellent for the Cubs last season with a 6-2 record and a 3.70 ERA in spot starts. Mitre needs some major league experience and never will get better with out getting the experience. I guess it would all be decided on how long Prior is going to be on the DL. Dempster did have 7 K's also but seemed like he couldn'r get the third out on the dbacks big bats. Thats my two cents

mitre no, rusch a possibility. but rusch wasnt available anyways on wednesday. i say give dempster a coupla more shots.

I hope Ryan Dempester does well.

I like him a lot. I was hoping the Twins would sign him this off-season.

I agree with Ray. Let him have a few more starts and then if he still isn't doing good try Rusch.

I've never been sold on Dempster. He always looks good even in bad starts. A lot of good that does you if he allows a lot of runs to score in the process. I'd go with Rusch over Dempster when he's available.
