Volstad has looked awful.

Saw where Kerry Wood was going on the DL and Scott Maine was called up
Shoulder fatigue in the first couple weeks is a bad thing.

On the MLB.com Gamecast it said:
"SCOUT: Volstad must be running out of gas, his fastball has dropped from 92 to 87 MPH"
Thank you "Scout," I thought it was the 6 runs he's given up through 4.
That scout said the same thing about Cliff Lee in the 7th of the Phillies/Giants game, you know, when Lee went 10 innings. I doubt they really have a scout
Haha! Yeah, it doesn't mean anything. My guess is Prez is the scout... He's just hoping to trade for that player cheap by bad mouthing him.
Marlon Byrd traded to the red sox...
Also, it's amazing to think of geovany soto's rookie year and where he is the last 2 seasons.
LaHair is lighting it up. If he can keep this up, it's going to be a fun problem when Rizzo comes up.

LaHair has more homers than the rest of the Cubs combined.
I would miss Castro's first homerun by a matter of minutes.

Another homer for LaHair

So let me ask you trendy. Rizzo is your best prospect and is doing really well if I remember in the minors. However, LeHare is quickly becoming a favorite player with each homer he hits. If I remember, they play 1B each. What are your thoughts on this?
LeHare is going to be great trade bait?
Rizzo should still be called up?
LeHare is giving Rizzo quality time in the minors?
Maybe we can find a new position for one of them?
There's a few ways the Cubs could go about this.
1) Bench Soriano, play LaHair in LF
2) Release Soriano, play LaHair in LF
3) Trade Soriano, play LaHair in LF
4) Trade DeJesus, play LaHair in RF
5) Trade LaHair, play Rizzo at 1B
LaHair does have some experience at the COF positions, so that's a strong possibility.
Rizzo is most likely going to be called up once he earns another year of club control.
I, in all honesty, have no idea what the new front office will do. Wouldn't mind a straight up Soriano release, especially after the reduction of payroll this season.

Yeah, they're incredibly hamstrung with the Soriano contract.
