This is the worst strech of the year. We have been playing horrible baseball. Everyone just needs to wake up, and start picking up for each other. I wish both Prior and Wood are not back. We play decent baseball back then.

I don't care right now. I really don't. I have lost all intrest in this team with the recent strech of games. I tried watching but we suck so much I couldn't watch any more. Harriston needs to take over in CF. Patterson blows so much. Ronny Cedeno needs to play SS. We need to decide on LF. Hollandsworth is my choice right now. Let him play every day until we make a trade if that is what happens.

Did you notice the Astros quietly taking over second?
I really didn't even notice. I was watching each game to see the young players get ready after such a terrible start and someone mentioned that we were in second.
Wow!
Woah! Didn't notice that at all. Steak had been pimping them all year as a team to look out for and I never believed him. Hmmmm. Interesting. I still think the Cubs have a shot but we have to turn it around NOW and get mad hot. That is possible with this pitching staff but isn't looking too likely.

I think the Cubs could still get it done for the Wild Card. it will be tough, but like you said awefullspellare, the pitching can get it done. Good luck in the second half!
I don't want to say this but maybe this worked .

So I guess whenever we are unsatisfied with the outcome, we should start a thread like this, then they will start to play well.
LOVE THEE NOTRE DAME!
for as bad as they are playing, remember, they are 43-44. in 2003 at the break they were 47-47.

That year we had some great pickups though. Lofton and Ramirez were great as well as the other guy I forget his name. I don't see us getting anyone like that this year. Maybe a good OF, but nothing too special.
