RHP Sergio Mitre, who recently had a run of 18 1/3 scoreless innings, gave up seven runs in 4 2/3 innings of work in a Friday loss to the White Sox. With Mark Prior and Kerry Wood slated to come back soon, Mitre could find his way into the bullpen.


The pen is right for Mitre. Jerome Williams will be a better pitcher then Sergio once he gets going. He should be our #5 over Mitre, although he has done a pretty good job going between all the different places he has been(Iowa, Starting, Bullpen).
