There's no way he's going to come back from this, his career is probably over.

A sad story, but we'll always have the memories of his divine curveball ruining Astros batters.

If there was an All Star team for DL people, he would be on there.
This is completely and utterly sad. If ever anybody could have challenged Nolan Ryan's strikeout record it was this kid. Unfortunately, unlike Ryan, Wood keeps falling apart. He was relatively healthy for 2 years, '02 and '03, and we saw what he could do striking out 217 and 266 respectively. But the way it's gone since then, his career may as well be over. I have been a fan of the kid ever since his incredible rookie year, and can only hope that he can repair the damage and make a comeback. Although it would probably only be to get injured again. One of these years, all that will be left will be Cubs fans wondering what could have been had Kerry only been healthy.
Integrity can accommodate the inadvertent error and the honest difference of opinion; it cannot accommodate deceit or subordination of principle.

Shocking.

Correction: only out for 4 weeks
"Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood has a partial tear in his right rotator cuff and will be out at least four weeks"
However, if he has surgery, he's done for the season

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
He said he wants to play ASAP, so well see.
If he tries to play through this he is a complete retard.
So someone wanted this kid still?
I aim to try
