Pena gets on both times, Sox fall to Rays

Devil Rays at the plate: Ty Wiggington and Travis Lee both went 2-for-3 with a home run. Lee collected three RBIs, while Wigginton had a pair. Luis Ordaz went deep to open the fifth inning.
Red Sox at the plate: David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, Mark Loretta and Alex Cora all homered. Newcomer Wily Mo Pena singled and walked in his Boston spring debut.
Devil Rays on the mound: Starter Doug Waechter picked up the win, going four innings, giving up two runs on four hits and two walks, while striking out four. Jesus Colome struck out the side in the sixth. Chad Harville picked up the save.
Red Sox on the mound: Starter David Wells, making his first appearance of the spring, took the loss, going four innings, allowing four runs on five hits, while striking out two and not issuing a walk.
The walk is encouraging, although it could be completely random. He has said to be improving his patience over the winter. The HRs are nice too as the Sox are gianing their stride in the power shot. Hopefully Wells gets in shape (well, his version of it) soon.
And with these Dominican Winter League Stats? Encouraging...

oh no, Pena is already improving!
No, I am still going to have to root for this guy though. He is such a fan favorite type and it would be hard to not look for him to make an impact one day.
