Hostels are more of a young person’s thing, my days of “slumber party style” sleeps are OVER! I was thinking more of the tickets at least the ones not in bleachers. Actually, the flight will be the easy part as I will probably have mileage points to use. Though I was kind of surprised that I managed the week in NY/NJ/Philly for under a thousand, so I may surprise myself.

I also cheered when Morneau went deep. Guy looked at me weird before I said "good Canadian kid" and gave him the Don Cherry thumbs up. We were cool after that.

Now it's Doug Fister "I hardly know her" vs. John "Mouth-breather" Lackey with rain, rain, and more rain. It hasn't been canceled yet, but it's been raining all day. Well, ponchos for all and for all a soggy night!

Seriously, we haven't been to a game since August 2007 and of course I get tickets to a rainy game. Oh well I suppose. I'll be pissed if we get up there and they cancel it though.

If you do get caught in the rain make sure you aren't wearing jeans that will weigh 50 lbs soaked and get dry and WARM as soon as you can or you will have the sniffles like me for 2 weeks since I sat in the rain for 2 hours in Atlanta!
