Great debut for Bay scoring the winning run. Had to be a thrill for him and that alone probably brought himself closer to the guys in the clubhouse. Bay can flat out playand will be fun to watch.
I'll laugh if Manny's new team has the worse record but it's enough to get into the playoffs and if the Sox don't pass the ****in Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
Ha, true giantsfan but it is a fun story. It sucks that you have giantsfan in your name and its the football giants

Both Bay and Manny keep tearing it up for their new teams. Seems like this trade is working our for everyone. Manny is 3-3 so far with 3 RBI and a triple shy of the cycle and Bay went 2-4 with two more runs scored. Even Andy LaRoche went 1-4 today with a 2 run shot. Too bad Hansen took the loss.
Jason Bay has just been nothing but great for the Red Sox since being traded. Bay has hit in 20 of 23 games and hitting .345 with 23 RBI in 23 games. The freak has a RBI for every game he's played. Great move by Boston!!
To be fair though, it's not exactly hard to rack up the RBI's in that lineup. Boston does have a .358 OBP, good for best in the AL and .035 higher than the lowly Pirates who are right among the worst of the worst.
Bay has been a great pickup though. I don't know if it's wildcard battle or what but I think going to an environment like Boston with a very different set of expectations has been like a breath of fresh air for him.

Plus the short wall in left doesn't hurt. Bay's been a great addition, as has Manny for the Dodgers. This is another of these trades that seem to benefit both teams(and if the young guys meet expectations, the Pirates will benefit as well.
People doubted Bay in Boston and he is driving in those runs. Its not so easy to do, just ask Arod. Bay is proving the doubters wrong and playing great defense to go with his bat.
He's filled that left field spot quite nicely hasn't he. No complaints about him here.
His knee obviously isn't bothering him, that's the only thing that's stopped him from being a good outfielder every year. He did great for Pittsburgh and you know they never had much talent around him. Pressure packed environments have had no affect on his approach either.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!
