Hey, the Yankees aren't the only AL East team who's allowed to have prominent offensive players get hurt!
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Oh man! I hate to say it, but this could very well be the demise of the Sox this season. Ouch. You guys want Griffey's services for that month?
OUCH!! That is a big blow to the Sox. Well he will be like adding another legit hitter at the trade deadline.
Hope the Rays dont get too far out in front of your beloved Red Sox.
This is a huge blow but Sean Casey has had a good year so far at the plate so it might not hurt as bad as we think. Ortiz's mere presence in the lineup will be missed but Casey is no slouch.
Sean can really hit in the clutch. Of course the Sox are going to lose a lot of power with Papi out of the lineup, but Manny just needs to step it up as he has the past few days in the homerun department.
Just noticed the Sox had Ellsbury, Crisp and Drew in the OF with Manny DHing. That can only help.
Ken Rosenthal is suggesting that they may have interest in Adam Dunn.
Jed Lowrie or Justin Masterson please.
