FORT MYERS, Fla. -- One of the best leadoff men in baseball, Red Sox center fielder Johnny Damon has no plans on switching professions any time soon. However, he did enjoy moonlighting as an author over the winter and thinks fans will find plenty of interesting reading in his autobiography, "Idiot: Beating 'The Curse' and Enjoying the Game of Life," which will be released on April 4.
While the historic story of the 2004 Red Sox is certainly a large part of the book, Damon said there are many other issues he delved into.
