Series Three: The King v. The Emperor: Iron Arm Boston

OK, this is really a three game series. The Sox play in Fenway for the first time since last year and the M's get to play a game where they aren't snowed in (that may happen Wednesday though, night). But what we are all looking forward to is the most hyped incoming SP this year (Matsuzaka) will make his Fenway debut against perhaps the best young SP currently pitching, Felix Hernandez. King Felix may have struggled early, but he looks absolutely legit (and makes my FB selection of him even better).

Game One: Jeff "Dream" Weaver v. Josh Beckett
Game Two: "King" Felix Hernandez v. Daisuke "Dice-K" Matsuzaka
Game Three: Jarrod Washburn v. Tim Wakefield

The good news for the Mariners is that they get to avoid Schilling. The good news for Boston is that the Mariners get to avoid Julian Tavarez. This series could go any way.

I can't wait for that Felix-Dice K matchup. Maybe the two most exciting/intriguing pitchers in baseball this year.

Love that I drafted him in a couple leagues. He has a no-hitter through six, allowing only a couple walks.

Drew finally gets a hit off of Hernandez, 7 no-hit innings. Damn, he's good, I'm just happy he didn't no-hit us.

I would like to thank Veronica for hitting the ball where it didn't result in a force out to spare the Sox from being Felix's victim (as in, a no-hitter)

For the record, I often feel like the Sox don't take advantage of enough opportunities. They often waste bad pitches and are simply ineffective at taking advantage of mistakes. That's not how it is tonight, Felix is simply that good and I don't think any team would hit him well tonight. Kudos to Felix.

Assuming you got equal odds on both guys, who would you put money on right now to win the AL Cy Young? Santana or Felix? BELIEVE THE HYPE!!

At this point, only two starts in, it's hard to even muster a guess. Even odds, I'd probably take Johan for his track record, but Felix was incredible and looks like he can continue it

Felix is the ****in man. Two starts in 20 wins and a sub 3.00 ERA looks very likely. He had the juice flowing tonight, almost throwing a no hitter in Fenway speaks for itself. The defense behind him played awesome too.

Oh and the two highest game scores in the MLB so far both belong to Felix. It's good to be King.
