The Eric Hinske deal, the David Wells deal, the Kevin Jarvis deal, the Javy Lopez deal, the Jason Johnson deal, the Mirabelli-Bard deal ... all of these trades involved players to be named later.
It's really quite frustrating.

Agreed, but you forgot to mention the terrible job he does handling the pitching staff. I guess he'd be good for a team looking for a DH to bat .230At least Dougie has some defensive capability. Javy didn't hit well and he couldn't play any kind of defense.
