And the Mormons are burning their Hayward jerseys.
It turns out that sports fans really, really hate it when a star player they want back instead leaves.
Hell, Matt Kemp and Mike Piazza got booed in Dodger Stadium for being "traitors" even though the team traded them.
And Boston goes out to trade Bradley....for another forward. I'm excited for this future college lineup of forwards and IT.

Does Boston still need to work out a sign-and-trade sending Crowder to Utah in order to make room for Hayward's contract or are they good after having traded Bradley for the crappy Morris twin?
the bradley deal was made so they didnt have to rush to trade crowder. i think they still wanna deal crowder to help with the luxury tax next season and make sure they got the room to re-sign thomas next year... but the bradley move cleared out enough to give hayward his deal.
Still, with Crowder on a team friendly contract through 2020 and if you grant that they were always going to land either one of Hayward, George, or Butler, it just made more sense to me for them to take Markelle Fultz as insurance given that they were never going to re-sign Bradley and they may decide Thomas isn't worth a max extension. But whatevs, it's the Celtics, so I won't shed any tears if Ainge's moves don't go to plan.
the only thing i can think is, they didnt think fultz was a true franchise changer. but it cracks me up, that with as long as the draft process runs... they never found a way to get josh jackson to work out for them once. that just screams ineptitude. i havent been a fan of ainge's last two drafts... although jaylen brown over kris dunn is looking pretty good right now. at some point though, youre gonna have to hit a home run on one of these draft picks, you cant just keep drafting role players in the top 5.
His 2015 draft was complete shite. Rozier, Hunter, Mickey, Thornton but coulda been like Dekker, Harrell, Hernangomez, and Powell. Instead he only has one guy left and I don't know what Rozier's role is even going forward

Also could have Holmes, Josh Rich or Harrison. Rough scouting there, Dan.
