nothing on russell. that doesnt mean its dead, im just assuming the lakers didnt want okafor from philly, which was the main rumor coming out. with the cap raising so much, this is gonna be a crazy 2-3 weeks.

This is just not great value. Maker is the rawest player in this draft, and is still two years away from legitimately playing in an NBA game due to his lack of strength and limited basketball instincts. To make matters worse, Maker likely won?t be able to get time on the floor to improve because the team does not have a D-League affiliate to stick him with. It?s hard for me to see how this one works out well for them.

i dont necessarily like it or hate it, i just assumed this was the range he was going, because of him being a 7 footer and a mystery. i did read that teams were starting to warm to him after some workouts the last couple weeks. still, any guy where you dont know for sure what his age is (hes supposedly 19, teams seems to think hes 21 though), its risky. his upside is ridiculous... or he could be out of the league in 2 years.

well considering the whole draft process and the way he went about it, was done in a way to get him into the nba as soon as possible... hes definitely signing a contract and playing in the nba next year. he may be sitting at the end of the bench all year, but he'll be on the bucks roster.
