A lot of the Hawks organization came from San Antonio, so the same philosophies will be tried. Stash-N-Grab a foreigner, keep him overseas and see if he can develop.

I think they need more shooters off the bench, and avoid wasting money on retreads like Gordon and Frye. Hanlan in a reserve role can fill in at the point or 2. Since he's a tweener guard, bench role is most ideal. He's been a prolific scorer since he stepped on the court in BC.

With the 52nd pick, the Dallas Mavericks select Dez Wells, Shooting Guard from Maryland

Terrific athlete. Jack of all trades, master of none. Played PG some at Maryland, but his length would dictate he's probably a SG. Plus he does need to clean up his handling a little bit. Should be a good leader for a bench unit though.

PF Larry Nance Jr., Wyoming


I don't think Cleveland loses both Love and Thompson, at least one will come back. They'll need big man depth. Nance could be a low post monster, rim protector, and provide highlight reel jams. He also seems like the type of young guy LeBron would approve of, giving his bloodlines and work ethic. Age and a significant ACL injury his junior year have knocked his draft stock.
