according to espn... last week, tim hardaway jr yelled out on the court "get the rebound". thinking the comment was at him, carmelo ran down the court with timmy jr, and asked him "who the fuck are you talking to... im gonna fuck you up". and evidently, things like that, are pretty much the norm. go knicks! might it be better to be a jet fan right now?

"Also, the day after losses, Woodson would typically hold voluntarily workouts that were light and nondemanding. Fisher, however, holds full-fledged practices and works the players hard.
"Guys are definitely frustrated," one source said. "But some of it's just basketball stuff that the players don't like doing. When somebody's demanding that you make a hard cut, you don't like it because you have to work harder. When someone says it's not OK to throw a bulls--- pass, guys don't like it.""
they arent happy... with hard practices. WE TALKIN BOUT PRACTICE!
things like this, just make it clear that carmelo shouldve been allowed to walk, you sell jr smith WITH a dollar to get 10 cents back, and you just ride out the last year of amare and bargnanis contracts [amare, strangely enough, is actually building some slight value in himself this year...]. and you let fisher coach all the rookies and young guys... shump, larkin, early, timmy jr... get a high pick in 2015, and tank the way the sixers did.
alas, that ship has sailed. might it be time to start exploring dealing carmelo somewhere, making the other team take back jr in the process, and saying fuck getting fair value back?

ive been playing around with the trade machine the last couple days. though wont let me trade certain guys until either the 15th or 20th... i forget which... but heres one i was particularly fond of...
melo and jr to charlotte for stephenson, marvin williams' contract [2 years, 7 mil], gerald hendersons contract [2 yrs, 6 mil per], cody zeller, noah vonleh... and then protected picks could be thrown on top. williams and henderson expire the same year as jrs, but i think jr has a player option for a 3rd year... not sure about henderson or marvin. and then we cut 2 years off melo to lance pants.
naturally, melo has a no trade clause, and i doubt hed ever go to charlotte ever... but maybe mj could convince him!
another one that might be doable...
melo to the lakers... 22.5 going in, 16 mil going out... but they have a little over 6 mil in trade exceptions they can use to get melo in.
jr and dalembert [1 yr, 4.1] to the bobcats... theyd be +2.5 mil or so on the deal
stephenson, steve nash's contract [1 yr, 9.7], boozers contract [1, 3.3], randle, zeller and picks to the knicks... theyre sending out 26.1 and bringing in about 29. we also have about 5.5 mil in trade exceptions, so they could deal another small piece, or use some of the exception.
Zeller would be awesome

Fake trades for Stephenson involving Indiana time!
Hill and Copeland for Lance works. And gives the Hornets shooting.
Miles, Mahinmi, Copeland, Stuckey for Lance and Biyombo works. Hornets again get shooting and a starting replacement for Lance. Indiana gets a defensive sleeper to possibly fix.

Rondo ideas.. ...not many teams actually need a PG though.
I love how this actually decreases the Knicks wins. I figure they'll need to get rid of Timmy Jr anyways. NBA Trade Machine - ESPN
