smart... drummond and davis next to each other is ideal as hell for international play. no other country would buy a rebound if you just played 3 bigs with those 2 [or cousins] with faried at small forward, and just let curry and kyrie shoot 3s all day.

I suspect either Muhammad or Rob III, or both, will be in the D-League. So this is life post-Kevin Love. It's honestly not terrible and frankly would compete for a 6-8 seed in the East. But, they're a 40 win team in the West. I think they should start Wiggins, even if he needs to develop his offensive game, he will bring more than Martin. My initial impression is that they could very well lead the league in steals (Young and Rubio were top 5, Brewer averaged nearly 2 a game, and I imagine Wiggins/LaVine will be thefty) so fast break scoring will likely be their strength. And then there's Pekovic steamrolling everyone around the basket. They have a lot of scoring off the bench, they're deep, and they're mostly young so this could be a potentially exciting team at times. More so when Dieng is at center to protect the rim to lead to all those fast breaks. While it's a depressing team, there is actually some hope, particularly if their young core develops AND they get something out of Bennett and Muhammad. But unfortunately it'll just mean a late lottery pick again.

I have no idea what their lineup is going to be outside of Noel and MCW. I have no idea what their bench will be outside of Wroten, Shved, and Moute. I have no idea what their roster will even look like, initially. I think Noel is going to end up being very good. He has that vibe. I loved the pick of McDaniels in round 2, he's an otherworldly athlete that should be in the dunk contest. MCW will put up crazy stats, threaten to put up a triple double nightly, and shoot like 30% from the field. Wroten will end up doing the same thing to a lesser extent. Maybe even Thabeet's hair will get some PT. This team is rather sad. They shouldn't crack double digits in wins. They should be a shoe in for best chance at the number one pick. But even then.. let's be real here. Guy running Philly says it's about collecting assets. While I think it's going to be quite lethal to have Embiid-Noel combo at the rim, you've done nothing to collect assets everywhere else. Dario Saric is a power forward. You drafted several super athletes in round 2 that can't really shoot. At some point you have to realize you need wings? To that point, the 2015 draft does not really help you there. It'll be stocked full of bigs again. If Philly lands number, and drafts someone like Okafor or [insert Kentucky Wildcat here], what's that doing? Asset collecting. But more terrible seasons and a fan base ready to piss on your grave.
